O.K, SO MAYBE I AM JUST AS BAD AS GEDY..

My new purchase... I suppose that I shouldn't complain about Gedy's obsession with new trucks because I seem to have one of my own which either has to do with plants, flowers, or anything that you can buy in a Florist, I am always bringing something home from work. The Holidays are the worst, especially after when everything goes down to 75% off, then I go on a rampage. I promised Gedy that I was NOT going to buy anything after christmas this year, he looked at me and smiled and said...yeah right! O.K. so he was right, however I did try to fight it so hard but as you can see, I lost. I went into work yesterday (1st day back since x-mas) and seen this (well actually 4 ) Reindeers behind the counter they seemed to be waiting for me) I'm surprised they didn't have my name on them. At any rate they were 75% off and I just couldn't stand it, so I bought it. The original price $49.99 my cost $8.25. I have big plans for this Reindeer next x-mas, I am going to fill it to the max with x-mas greens so my house will smell like pine, Mmmmm, love that smell. Anyway, I heard that there is 1 more left in work so I asked that it be held for me until tomorrow in which I will have 2 Reindeers, yay! So I guess I will just stop talking about Gedy's obsessions and start doing something about my own, after all, I have no idea where I am going to store the 2 reindeers, I am totally out of room for all my christmas stuff. Can you keep reindeers on your patio all summer long without someone thinking you're weird?

OMG! HE DID IT AGAIN!!

OUR NEW TRUCK.....KIA SPORTAGE Gedy went to the Kia dealers today to have a recall part replaced and came back with a new truck.
Its not the 1st time that he's done this, the last time he went for an oil change and came home with a new truck and the time before that it was an oil change also....

I think its becoming a new tradition of his, I might have to start going with him to keep him under control lol.

This was the old truck. Although I do like the new one even though it is smaller (but we really don't need a big truck) I miss the old one already. I really do like the smell of a new truck though, theres nothing like it. I think from now on I will have to take the truck for the oil changes, Actually I should have him take my car in for an oil change..yep, I think I will. Maybe next week I will have a new car lol...

SAM'S WALL ART

Stacey found this stuff called wall art and Sam had a ball decorating the living room wall, funny how well she can make flowers huh? Anyway it was funny because as you sat on the sofa in the livingroom and looked at it...it was almost like being in a cave with all the caveman drawings. I thought it was too cute and had to post it.

Never have I ever been treated so horrible

Today had to be the worse day I have had in a very long time. It didn't start out so bad, as a matter of fact I kind of felt good this morning. That was of course until left the house for a few moments to run to Dunkin donuts, and from there on my day was just a disaster. I Have been pushed, bumped into and cut off all day by men with nasty additudes (you know the grinches that hate christmas because they have to spend money). I even ran into a few while I was in work which is unusual. At any rate it made my day so miserable and I just felt like crap to begin with so I didn't need all the (men shit) on top of it. I left work at 8:30 pm with co-workers asking me what was wrong (because I am always happy) but not tonight. My last words to them were.......When I leave this parking lot any man in my way is going DOWN! by this time I have had enough! So on my way home I had to stop in walgreens (scared) but I still went in and I swear I once again got cut of by a man on his way out. I do have to say that I just didn't let them get away with it without giving them a few of my choice words. Anyway, once I was in walgreens and ended up in the christmas isle (I started playing with the toys as usual) And this one thing caught my eye and just made me burst out laughing, it was the 1st time I laughed all day, I have just about been in tears all day. So I decided this toy was mine! I bought it and have been playing with it ever since. I hope I have a much better day tomorrow and can say , wow, there still are a few gentlemen left in the world. If not I'm gonna start pushing them right back!

Flowers have the power to heal

At least I think so, so I made myself an arrangement in work tonight and just looking at them on my coffee table makes me smile.

Today's snowstorm...HELP!!!

I left my house at 12 noon to get in to my car (which is parked down the back of the complex) to get to work by 1pm, usually a 10 min drive and it is snowing bad. I pass this once green x-mas tree that is now barely looking anything like a x-mas tree. They have x-mas trees starting as you enter the complex and go all in a row all the way down to the back (maybe 20 x-mas trees that are all lit up at night, its so breathtaking.
O.K. so I get down the back and I think this is my car, only because I can see some (purple). The snow is deeper than it looks because I couldn't get my car door open, it took me awhile. Then finally I realized that I just couldn't get out of this spot on my own so I gave in and called for HELP.

Here he is...my sweet hubby who came to my rescue. Shoveled me out and brushed off my car, then sent me on my way.

I'm not sure how but I had a ton of snow all on the inside of my car. I think maybe it was from the snow that was up to my thights when I was stuck by the side of my car with no way to get in.

Finally, I am out and on my way to work, One hour later.

Passing my apt and thinking of...yes, it was a lot of work just getting out of my parking spot and I am still not out of the complex yet, but it sure was a lot of fun!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! I am almost at work........1 hour and 25 minutes after leaving my apt. (remember, A 10 min drive on a normal day, if that).

I got into work at 1:25 (25 ) minutes late, and yes, I did stay in work 25 minutes later to make up for it. I have to say I had a great time because everyone who knows me knows I can't ever get enought SNOW. I was a little dissapointed when I got out of work though because it was raining (hailing) and I did not want the snow to go away. However, the roads have turned to ice because of it and now I will be worried until my hubby gets home from work at midnight. Please wish him a safe trip home!

WHEN THE LIGHTS GO ON......

This is what my patio looks like at night when the lights go on. I have them set on a time because its much easier than having to plug them in all the time. The timer turns the lights on at 4pm, and off at midnight.
Although it can be time consuming decorating the patio, I really enjoy doing it so its more like fun than a job to me.

I will be sad when its time to take it all down, so for now I will just look out the window and enjoy it while I can.

The inside of my apt looks the same as the outside, all decorated!

SNOW STORM # 1...OUR WINTER WONDERLAND!!!

Well, here it is! the photos of our 1st snow storm (another one due tomorrow). This is what it looks like in Weymouth ma, where we live. This photo is facing the front of the complex (the entrance and exit). This is what my patio decorations look like covered in snow, It will look so awesome tonight when the lights are on.
Once again, my patio.

This photo is looking out the spareroom window, we were watching the bobcats clear out the lot and parking spots.

O.K., my patio again.

Parking lot and bobcats.

This is a photo of the front door from the inside of the building.

Oh, you know this one...lol.

This photo is taking from out front on my front door looking way down the back of the comlpex.

The back window in the 2nd floor hallway.

The front window looking out from the hallway.

So all in all we got about a foot to 14 inches of snow. Tomorrow there is another 6 inches on the way. Also talk about about a storm for christmas eve, Lets hope so! I swear to you ,, I can never get enought snow, I actually live for it! I love new England and would never live anywhere else. But right for the moment....I am enjoying every minute of it, It is absolutely the most breathtaking sight!!!!!!!!!!!

THE JOB GOT DONE!

Last night in work I managed to get my centerpiece done, I was a little worried that it was not going to happen this year because my table has never been without one on any Holiday. Here I am in work just completing it and excited it got done, I did have my doubts. Here it is as it arrived at home with me at 9:30 pm last night.
And just a few moments ago when I added the final touch, the silks and picks. I don't like to use real flowers in it because my house is too dry and the flowers go quickly. Anyway, not my best work (for sure)I'm still feeling a little drained, but it will sure do because after all.....its better than nothing, right?

THE END RESULTS........

Yes! I really miss & love my work....

I am hopefully returning to work tomorrow. Its my favorite time of year to do arrangements because I love working with christmas greens. I always make a large centerpiece full of greens for my diningroom table, however because I haven't been in work for about a week and a half I never got to make my arrangement. Hopefully tomorrow I will get it done and then my table will be complete., and have the wonderful smell of Pine in the apt.

THE VAICIUS EXPRESS

Gedy and I are all done with christmas decorating. We finished the patio yesterday and today we finished the inside, put up the tree and decorated it. However my very favorite thing is the locomotive train set that we put around the bottom of the tree. its something that I have always wanted to do over the years and this year, I Did it!!! Here is a video of the "Vaicius Express" lol. I would get a much better video if I did it in the day time when there is more light so I might try to get a better video of it tomorrow, you also can't see the tree ornaments either. I hope you enjoy my train, I love when the horn blows. P.S. note santa in the last boxcar going for a spin lol.

DECK THE HALLS!!!

Gedy and I have finally finished decorating the patio today. This is what it look liked tonight at about 6pm.
Although you can't see it in this photo below ,there is a wreath in the middle of the patio that I decorated and late tonight I added lights to the wreath. (cindy gave us the wreath last night) thanks cindy.

In this photo above you can see the wreath but I hadn't added the lights to it yet.
For those who remember, christy & cindy bought us these musical trees last year. We put them out on the patio today however, I can't really turn the music on when they are out there but we do have the trees lit up and flashing. Tomorrow Gedy and I will decorate the tree and then everything is done which is great because I am going to be so busy working up until december 24th at 6pm when the florist closes. I love these trees!

I LOVE MY JOB!!!
