IT WAS A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Here he is...The Birthday Boy! and its the 1st photo of him as he turns 10 years old today. He is holding the gift that stacey & Brian got him...the nintendo wii..and as you cas see he couldn't be any happier.

Here are the Boys playing baseball on the wii, as you can see they are having so much fun. o.k. now so lets see...he now has playstation, playstation 2, gamecube, x-box, and now nintendo wii, not to mention we have regular nintendo and gamecube at out place. I do have to say that after watching them play the wii...its looks like it will be alot more fun than the other ones.

Here is Auntie christy getting a big hug from Sam & Dee. Christy & Cindy gave Brendan 2 video games for his wii, this Boy is all hooked up now. On april 4th Brendan is going to have his big Birthday party with all of his friends so over the weekend I will be posting some family photos from that party.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRENDAN SCOTT!!

Happy Birthday to our our Grandson Brendan who turns 10 years old on monday march 31st. I dug out some old photos of him to post on my blog, I can't believe that he was once that little, I think he was 7lbs 2oz. about 1 week old.

1 year old.

4 years old.

6 years old at his Baseball game.

8 years old making his First Communion.

And the latest photo of him playing Basketball outside of his house. I will post the 1st photo of him at 10 years old tomorrow after his Birthday party.

Here is one of my favorites photos of us together, I love the smile on his face. I can't believe that I have been a Grandma for 10 years already,I was just 4 days shy of my 44th Birthday, that time went by so fast! So a big Happy Birthday shout out to you Brendan.....the Best Grandson ever! We love you tons and cherish every single moment we spend with you. We hope your Birthday is an awesome one after all....you are now (as papa says) in double digits.

WELCOME HOME STACEY!

Stacey came home from the hospital this afternoon and we are all thrilled to see her home. After spending all day friday in the emergency room tests showed that she has a small blood clot in her lungs and she was admitted into the hospital. It was a scarey 2 days for all of us but we are glad that she is on the mend now. She has to take it easy for the next week and has to give herself 2 shots a day plus another med for 6 months to a year, she also has to go to the dr everyday to have her blood taken for the next month.We are just so happy to have her home and hope she feels much better soon. I have a feeling that we will always remember this Easter although I have to say that Brian did a remarkable job getting through the weekend (not that I doubted him for a minute) He made a delicious ham dinner today also.

Last night I took Brendan in the hospital to see stacey, we stayed until about 10pm and then he stayed at my house for the night.

We had a different kind of colored eggs this year, sport eggs....So this is what we did last night, at least it kept out minds busy for awhile.

Please keep stacey in your prayers and hope that she will continue to get better with each day. We are so lucky that she went to the hospital when she did, I just want her to get well soon.

TODAY'S "SPECIAL" MAIL

I just went down to the mailbox to get todays mail and opened this Easter card from the Grandkids, Gedy and I couldn't stop laughing. It is so adorable that I just had to post it! Sam is learning how to sound words out and she writes them as they sound, its way too cute how she spells most of her words. I LOVE IT!!

I don't know if any of you reading this blog know what she is saying but I understand her perfectly. This has to go down as one of my many favorite cards and is definitely a keeper! So thank you Brendan, Samantha, Delaney, and Natalie for the precious Easter card, Grandma and Papa love you so much!

FLOWERS FLOWERS AND MORE.....

Flowers! I have been doing one arrangement after another since tuesday and will continue to do so every day all day right up until Easter Sunday. We got some real cute containers in this year (at least I think so) and I thought I would show them to you.

STACEY MARIE Who was born 35 years ago today at 11:19 am. she weighed 5lbs 10 1/2 ozs and was 18 1/2 inches long, she was so tiny and precious.

And here she is again, she is 2 years old in this photo.

So Stacey, Mom & Dad wish you a very Happy Birthday and hope you have a great day! We love you lots.....Muah!

Oh! I just realized that we can use the same candles now, 35 for you ...and 53 for me...wow! I like yours better..lol.......Love you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STACE!

A LAZY DAY!

Gedy and I were so lazy this morning and did absolutely nothing but sit and watch t.v. Maybe we were so lazy because it was raining out, or maybe not, anyway we stayed just sitting like this until 2pm when he had to get up and go to work. I had today off from work so I actually stayed just like this all day. I had so many things that had to be done around the house and not one thing got done, I seriously just sat and watched t.v. all day.

I think maybe its because I know I won't have another day off from work until some day next week and then I know I am going to have to work everyday after that right up to Easter sunday...whew! I'm tired just thinking about it. Anyway, I did have a nice relaxing day today and I can't wait to have another one.

SOME "BRENDAN" TIME.........

Brendan doesn't seem to make it on my blog as often as the girls do so I thought it would be nice to give my favorite Grandson a special spot on my blog for no apparent reason....just because I love him! So here is one of my favorite photos of him. I can't believe that in just 20 days.....he is going to be 10 years old, that time went by so fast. He is such a Great kid and we love him so much. He came in my work last night to keep me company for a few hours, we had a great time hanging out together, we always do. He even taught me a few new words and what they mean, I am still laughing at that, he is such a funny boy!

TIME TO HEAL AND MOVE FORWARD

We would like to thank all of you who kept Scott & Robin in your thoughts and prayers through this sad time. Robin had her surgery yesterday and everything went well so it is now time to move forward and be the silly family that we always are. I thought it would be nice to start with this adorable photo of Robin from Halloween back in..1979..or 1980???She was dressed as a housewife and kind of reminds me of Mema with the curlers, I especially like the eyelashes (one on her cheek and one on her forehead).
Scott loves to see photos of Robin from when she was little so Scott, this ones for you! and here is the full photo of her in her costume. When I seen this photo this morning I just couldn't stop laughing and thought, I have to put this on my blog. Hmmmmmmmm, makes me wonder who she's talking to, I bet if I asked her she would remember.

Hope you both are doing well, we love and miss you lots! And thanks for the laugh!

THINKING OF YOU....

Please take a moment to think of Robin & Scott today as It will be such an emotional day for them, and the rest of the family. Robin is having surgery this afternoon to have the fetus removed and I can't imagine how awful it must be for her and Scott. So please keep them in your thoughts and hope everything goes well for them.

SAD NEWS.......

On thursday we received some sad news from Robin & Scott, I think its better if you read it yourself from Robin's blog than if I try to explain it again, it just hurts too much to keep repeating it.



It would mean so much if you could go onto Robin's blog and let her know that you are thinking of her & Scott at this sad time, I am sure that they would love to hear from you.
