One of the gifts that christy & cindy gave Gedy for christmas is ZELDA and he is getting addicted to it on the weekends. Its not an easy game, you needs lot of patience. He got to the end of the ZELDA that Brendan got him even though it took him awhile and I know that he will get to the end of this one too. In the mean time he is having fun playing it and I am having fun watching him play, I will let you know when he has reached the end of the game.
My Mom was released from carney Hospital today and sent to st joseph's Rehab hopefully for a short time until she gets her strength back.
Here she is in the 1st 2 photos at the Carney waiting for the Ambulance to arrive to transport her. (she is in some kind of deep thought).
I actually arrived at st Joseph's before my mom did and I was so excited to see that she has a private room. Sometimes it hard sharing a room with someone. I sat in the chair in the corner and watched them make her bed and make sure that her room was just right for her.
She has everything she needs, a walker, t.v, 2 chairs, a small wardrobe, an oxygen machine (hopefully she won't need that anymore), and a nice bathroom with a huge shower w/ a chair. All the nurses and the Dr remembered her and all came in to give her a hug.
Here she is arriving in the Ambulance. I was sitting by the window while I was waiting for her so I decided to take a few photos of her arrival.
She looks so warm and snuggly and I was so happy to see her.
Here she is all safe in her bed at St joseph's. It was a long day for both of us but I am happy that she is getting better. She will have to get a little stronger before she can come home but I hope its not too long. Oh and to Ann marie & Chris, I heard all about your visit with nana last saturday, she was sooooo happy to see you both, thanks for going in to see her it gave my sisters and I a much needed break. Stacey, nana said she will miss you stopping in to see her all the time on your break lol. we told nana that none of us will be going in tomorrow because of the snow storm but I have a feeling I am still going to sneak in.....because, well.....I just love my mom with all my heart!
I having been telling everyone all along that When I think of "HOBBIT" I see a Red head/blue eyed Baby. I can't believe I found this today at Game stop, I just had to buy it because I could not believe what I was seeing. Hobbit with red hair & Blue eyes (just as my prediction), how weird is that? I'm hoping Hobbit does not arrive with the big brows and pointy ears but if he/she does, I will still love Hobbit with all my heart. I know all my grandchildren will have the same color eyes (blue) but it would be cool to have one with each colored hair and the only color we don't have is RED, so I am predicting that Hobbit will be the one with the Red hair. I am counting down the days with excitement just to see if I am right, Does anyone agree with me?
I was cleaning out my night stand drawer tonight when I came across this photo of Brendan and just bursted out laughing. From the age of 3 this kid was every super hero you can think of, but by far "spiderman " was his very favorite. He wore this costume day & night, even to bed, he always had the mask on but because Stacey & I took him to sears to have this photo taken we convinced him to take the mask off for 5 minutes. The funniest memory I have of him convinced that he was " spiderman " was when Papa Called him one day....he yelled ..Hey Brendan!! and Bren replied so softly....My name is not Brendan......... its " PETER PARKER " I will never forget that, it was one of his funniest moments, and believe me, he has many of those.
This is a card that stacey gave to me, how funny is it that out of all the womens names they have to pick mine?...........I hate laundry, Gedy does that too, Hmmmmmm, maybe thats why he like sit lol.
It was an awesome sight seeing where I love snow and can never get enough of it.
So off to work I go , walking thru the snow.
It was a great morning waking up to the sight of snow and then even driving in it to get to work, I hope we get more snow soon!
Hobbit will be arriving this year and I am so excited, I'm sure the rest of the family is too. I have all these things on the top of the computer desk to remind me of Hobbit everyday, We call it Hobbit's corner. I absoulety love the fact that we do not know if Hobbit is a Boy or a Girl, first of all, it doesn't matter as long as Hobbit is a healthy lil one. But not knowing the sex makes you crazy with excitement, I must look at that ultrasound photo at least 10 or more times a day wondering ..What are you? and who will you look like although, I think it's safe to say that Hobbit looks like Scott to me, but doesn't mean a thing because Boys or Girls can look like their Father. Theres also the excitement of wondering what day Hobbit will decide to enter the world on, there are so many Birthdays in March & April that it would be unlikely for Hobbit to arrive on a Day that there are no family Birthdays, not impossible though. I am hoping for April 4th, I know Diane is with me on this one, that would be very cool! I know Robin is hoping for April 1st, also very possible. However I was 18 days early with Stacey, Stacey was 15 days early with Brendan, so if Robin's genes are like ours Robin is going to win the money on the calendar game, she picked March 23rd. We will just have to wait and see because the time will be here before you know it and I just can't wait! (I still say 4/4/09 ) lol! and actually, I don't think that is anyones Birthday either. 3/23, Hmmmmmmmm.
Gedy & I just chilled when I got home. He made steak for dinner and then we (like always) watched the 3 stooges marathon, I swear we have seen every episode but we still crack up laughing.
I took a photo this morning of tthe snow that we got yesterday. We were suppose to get 8 inches and ended up with a foot, I love it! I need more.
