Its not that often you see the doors to the castle open....

Well our vacation is now over but it has to be one of the best vacation's that Gedy & I have had in awhile. We did tons of walking and have enjoyed every moment of it, I can't wait to do it again. Hope you enjoyed our photo's........

WHO WANTS TO EAT?

When Gedy & I were over stacey's yesterday she was telling us how a few times that her & Brian went into the kitchen and found Natalie sitting in her highchair, assuming one of the other kids put her in there they didn't think anymore about it. Then one day when stacey yelled...who wants to eat...........Natalie came running out of nowhere and climbed into her highchair, I can imagine that stace & Brian were dying laughing as Gedy & I were yesterday. It really was so funny, That girl is such a climber!

After we went for walk around the pond we went to Stacey's to play with the Grandkids for a few hours, Thats always a blast!..............

ISLAND GROVE PARK..........

VACATION WEEK.......... Gedy is on vacation this week and although I am not, I am only working 2 days this week so we will get to spend some time together.

We went for a walk around Island Grove Park yesterday, its really such a beautiful place, here are a few photos from yesterday's walk.

I have no idea why but I am so fascinated by this cabin, maybe its because I would love to live there..lol... Today we went for a walk around Castle Island I will post those photo's tomorrow.

Next time we go for a walk I will have to bring my new camera, its has a tripod so I will be able to take photos with us in them.

IT'S ALWAYS A BLAST.........

Bren, cindy, Gedy, and Christy..... Gedy Brendan and I went to Christy & cindy's on fri night for a little cookout and a few laps...or..cannonballs.....or dives...in the pool.

We had a great time as always, here are a few photos from the night. I think Brendan can stay in water longer than a shark....seriously! He loves swimming.

This is what a squirrel looks like when............. he has a mouth full of nuts, then he brings them home to his family. This is the story that I got from Dee about squirrels that seemed to have just come out of nowhere, it was too funny so I had to share it with all of you.

"Welchie" at bat.....

Brendan had a baseball game last night and unfortunately it was his last game of the season. His team lost and was eliminated from the playoffs, let me tell you...he was not a happy camper for the rest of the night. Anyway, although short, it was a fun baseball season and his team played great. So Brendan be proud of your team you all did a great job, theres always next year! So here he is up at bat last night, its the 1st time I've heard his teamates call him "Welchie", I thought it was funny!

HAPPY TO BE HOME!

I felt much better today after being sick for a week so I went to visit my mom after work and did some shopping for her. As you can see she is so happy to be home. It was great to visit with her in her home instead of the rehab. I cooked her some lamb chops with rice and asparagus and made enough for 3 meals, I put them in containers and in the fridge so that all she has to do is heat them in the microwave, that is what I was told that we should do for her because the drs do not want her standing at the stove too long cooking, her balance isn't that great. Anyway she's happy to be home and sends a big hug & Kiss to Diane for always asking how she is doing...she also sends her love.

FOR CHRISTY....

One of our favorite episodes of I love lucy. It was on t.v. late last night and I was laughing so hard, I thought I need to video tape this and put it on my blog for christy. Back when christy was about 12 yrs old we had plenty of mother/daughter nights just sitting together and watching our favorite show, I swear I must have every episode that was filmed, I still have them all on tapes stuffed away in the closet. Those were the days!!!! So christy, this is just for you, I hope you enjoy it. love you lots!!!

MY SWEET LIL MONKEY.........

JUST MY LUCK.......

Grrrrrrrrrrrr, I am so aggravated. I have waited all week to bring nana home from the rehab, I have been so excited just thinking about how much she wants to be home. I was going to be the 1st one to see her face light up when she comes thru her apt door, right?...Wrong! As luck would have it I caught a little cold yesterday but thought hmmmm, just a little cold....Well about 10pm last night I started getting sick, stomach pains, running to the bathroom every 5 minutes and last, I was up all night with a cough and a temp of 103. I will now no longer be the one to take my mom home and I am so sad, I have so looked forward to it. My sister Ellie is leaving work now and she will be going in to take my mom home. I tried to get up and just push myself thru it but as stacey said......Are you crazy?? you can't go near nana with that, you will get her real sick.....and I really don't want that to happen. When I feel better I will go over to see her and take some photos. Anyway, WELCOME HOME NANA!!!

COUNTING DOWN...."3" hours to go......

Nana and her sister Rose. When I went in to see nana this morning we went up stairs to see her sister, we sat in the social room and watched t v and talked with her for awhile. It is not too ofter that Rose is sitting up in a chair, I thought she looked so well today.

Here is the last photo of us in the Rehab................ Tomorrow its HOME...SWEET.....HOME!!!!! My mom was so happy today. Tomorrow I will be making fresh Haddock for dinner......my mom's coming home dinner. She has made tons of friends while she was in there and today they were all saying that they hate to see her go, I'm sure it will take her all morning tomorrow to say good-bye to them. However all of her friends from her building are so excited that she will be home, they have missed her soooooo much. The next photos on this blog will be of Nana at home sitting in her brand new lift chair that my sister Ellie got and had delivered to her home about a week after she went into st josephs, I just know she will love her new chair!

HOMECOMING.......

Thursday Afternoon at 1pm...... After being away from her home since april 14th, Nana Yola is finally coming home and she is so excited, well, we all are!

She was getting all dolled up today in the rehab. She had her hair cut and styled and was getting a manicure after that. I have to say that she was treated well while she was there, I will take her back every so often to visit with her sister Rose. For those of you who said a prayer for Nana, went in to visit Nana, sent her a get well card...or sent her get well wishes.................

PUPPY LOVE.........

Whenever Gedy & I go over Christy & Cindy's we are always prepared to get tons of love from the dogs, but "Jacoby" well, it just seems that she has more love than she can handle, as you can see in all the photos below.

As for Gedy....he loves every minute of it, we all do.

And once again. I'm telling you these dogs are just so awesome! They are so well behaved and have plently of love to go around....all day....

Christy and Cindy, you have done a fantastic job with the dogs, and all this love they have just shows how much love that you both have for them. We love them so much!
