This morning when I went out on the patio to water my hanging baskets I noticed that something was sticking out of the entrance of my new birdhouse (looks like a piece of wood).
Gosh, it made me so happy to see that, I hope when the little sparrows move in they will love living in it as much as I love looking at it.
The Grandkids called me the other day and asked me to stop by on my way home from visiting Nana Yola, They said that they had finished my Mother's day gift and they wanted to give it to me.
I just couldn't believe my eyes when I seen it, it was just so awesome! I was so taken by the fact that they actually designed and painted the whole Birdhouse and that each one of them had a part in making it, they even showed me what part they each did. I have never seen anything like it.
It all started a few weeks ago when someone, ( I think you all know who) over heard me telling stacey that I wanted to get a birdhouse to hang on my patio, I said that I couldn't find one that I liked, I am so glad that "she "over heard that.
Just in case any of you have your doubts about them decorating the entire birdhouse, you can see the bottom of it and how it is just plain wood.
For the first time in awhile I had a little time to myself today so I started my patio and have decided that this year all my flowers will be "purple". I'm sure that 's a surprise to all of you.
I found this bird while cleaning out the walk in closet and decided to put it on the patio instead of throwing it away.
I am only going to have 3 hanging baskets out on my patio this year instead of my usual 8 baskets, last year was so much work trying to care for all the flowers on my patio and then going to work and caring for the flowers there, as much as I love my flowers, it was really way too time consuming.
They are not very big right now because I just got them today, after a few weeks of my special potion I promise they will become big and beautiful.
Another thing I found in the closet today is my waterfall that Gedy bought for me awhile back and I thought this would be the perfect thing for the patio. So now when I go sit out on my patio I will hear the calming sound of running water and see lots of Purple flowers. Although I am sure with my bladder I will be running inside to go to the bathroom every 10 minutes, but I know it will be worth it.
I had a great Mother's day. Stacey, Christy & Cindy took me out for lunch yesterday and we had such a great time.
The food was so delicious, the company was great, the waiter was F-I-N-E!!

I don't drink alcohol, usually, I did drink at stacey's wedding (a little) back in 1996 and then again about 4 years ago I went up to the club house for a st patty's day dinner and did have a little "Irish coffee" however I did not know that there was alcohol in it, really. But the girls insisted I try this drink, so I gave in and asked for just a touch of alcohol....
So after my second one ( and just how yuuuuummy does this look) I must say I was feeling a little goooooooooooooooooood, yah! However awhile later as I was on my way into see my mom I started not feeling so great. My stomach was nasty, I had a headache, and I was so tired. I feel better today so I say I think I need to go back for another .."PINA COLADA",mmmmmmmmmmmmm, so I'll have to get my girls to take me back again soon. Hope all you moms out there had a great Mother's day, I sure did! THANK YOU GIRLS!!!!! And thanks for The Gift card and all the other gifts too, I love my girls tons!!!
And the best grandmother and great grandmother also....
Happy Mother's Day to my mom who I am sure would rather be home for mother's day instead of in a rehab but it looks like she will be coming home soon, maybe tuesday. Until then, I plan to hang out with her on sunday afternoon and we will still have a great time, I will bring her in some "peonies" they are her favorite and we will sit and laugh like we always do.
Last month, on the 12th to be exact, Christy, Gedy, Brian, and Brendan went to the Red Sox game at Fenway Park thanks to uncle Tony who sent them the 4 tickets.

Christy & Brendan. As you can see everyone had a great time even though there was a rain delay in the 8th inning for awhile but in the end the score was 6-5...Boston Red Sox. So thank you Tony for the tickets, that was very thoughtful of you.
