BASEBALL ANYONE??

How Precious is Sam's little face without all her front teeth? Sam & Brendan both had baseball games last night at 6pm in the same baseball field but across from each other, so Stace & I ran back and forth to watch both of their teams play ball. After Sam's game we all watched Brendan play baseball because his game was still going. It was alittle chilly out because the field is right by the water and we had a great time.

Seems we will have a chef in the family, Tomorrow Sam starts cooking classes and I can't wait to see what she makes.

Above is Brendan up at bat. and below is Sam up at bat. Oh, the yelling that you hear, yep, thats me! I am a rowdy grandma at their baseball games, I get way too excited, but I absolutely love going to watch them play and they want me to go to all their games so they love it too! I once asked Brendan after one of his games....Bren did you hear me yelling for you and he said.......Grandma......everyone heard you...lol......Sam did a great job last night at blocking out my calls of encouragement for her. Last year (her 1st year playing) she was up at the plate and I yelled ....GO...SAM.!.. so she stopped ...turned around and yells out....whatcha say grandma.......it was so funny but the coach just shot me a look...so last night she said that she was not going to turn around when I yell and she didn't...great job sam! and a great hit by both of them, it was 2 great games, I can't wait until Delaney and Natalie play, wow! that will be 4 games that I will be going to, how exciting! I totally can't wait!

WAITING TO COME HOME....

My mom (nana yola) is feeling much better and is ready and waiting to come home any day now. Poor nana was in the hospital for 4 days and now in rehab for 11 days, she is so home sick and really wants to get back home. Below are some photos of nana that I have been taking over the past 14 days.

My sister Ann actually took this photo the other day and if she comes on to my blog she is going to see that I "borrowed" it from her blog...I just really love the photo, sorry Ann. This is my mom with her sister Rose. Aunt Rose is in the same rehab as my mom and my mom is so happy to go upstairs and visit with her sister everyday. My mom doesn't get to see her sister Rose because it is so hard for her to make the trip to the rehab so although she wants to come home soon, she is enjoying her visits with her sister.

4th Straight win for the Diamond Backs

My favorite sport has begun, I absolutely love watching Bren & Sam play baseball and I am in my glory now because baseball season had started. Here is a video of Brendan up at bat tonight at his game, his team won 16 to 12 making tonights game 4 in o for the Diamond backs (Brens Team). There will be plenty more baseball videos coming to my blog, Sam has her 1st game this saturday....yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, I am so excited!

SWINGING SISTERS

I thought I would post this video for natalie who is going into the hospital this morning for an emergency tonsillectomy, we wish you well Natalie!

Stacey & I will be taking a brief blogging break until things are a little less hectic for us. I have been busy with my mom being in the hospital, and now in a rehab but I hope to be back to blogging sometime this week, maybe.

SOME DOGGIE LOVIN............

AT CHRISTY & CINDY'S On friday morning christy called and asked us if we could go over and let the grandpups out to run around for awhile and of course, to go potty. She was able to get last minutes tickets to the Red Sox game for fri for her and cindy but the dogs would be alone for the whole day.

So Gedy & I went over twice once about 2pm after the maintenance guys left, and then again about 8pm. The dogs were so excited to see us that they were cutting in front of each other to get our attention, it was too cute. The above photo is of Jacoby (left) and Apollo fighting over a toy.

OH THESE CRAZY HANDS!

Remember back about 2 months ago I bought these crazy hands in Marshalls and I just wasn't sure what to do with them? Well, it turns out that I didn't have to do anything with them, everyone seems to get the biggest kick out of them and finds a use for them. It seems like everyday there is something different sitting in the hands, Today it is toilet paper and a bottle of water put there by the maintenance guy. I had no idea that these crazy hands would turn out to be such an attraction, its really funny.

The toilet is back in the bathroom now and the sink was put in today too, It is starting to look like a real bathroom again. The maintenance crew will all be back tomorrow morning for coffee and muffins and to finish the bathroom......I hope.

We had company today, Dee & Nat came to visit with us while stacey went to the drs. They were running around playing with each other and it was just so cute to see how close they are, Nat calls Della every 5 seconds and just has to constantly be with her big sister whom she adores. Delaney on the other hand is in a great spot, she can be grown up and hang out with her big sister sam, or she can just run around all silly like giggling with her baby sister Natalie and it seems that she enjoys both. I took some photos of the girls running around playing but this one is by far my favorite.

IT COULD ONLY HAPPEN TO ME!

I am on vacation this week and at 1st I was so happy, I planned to get plenty of rest for the 1st part of the week and then do my spring cleaning by friday, right?...wrong! I started my vacation last friday the 4th, well on thursday morning Gedy was cleaning the tiles in the shower and discovered that about 6 tiles on the wall were sinking in when he touch them plus, up above in the ceiling there was a bubble. So, I called the office and they sent a maintenance guy up to check it out, he says...yep, you've got a problem here it looks like there was a leak in the walls, I will go tell them up at the office and they will be in touch with you soon. An hour later another maintenance guy came up to look at it, then 1/2 hour after him another maintence guy and he says, o.k. we will be in touch soon. Within an hour I get a phone call saying that we will need a whole new bathroom and the guys will be out here at 8am on monday morning to gut the bathroom, WHAT! 8am? everyone knows that I am not a morning person, crap! O.k. so the maintence guy says that it will just be for 2 days and then the bathroom will be done, I can deal with that even though I really do need my beauty sleep. Well needless to say 2 days have turned into 5 days and the bathroom will be finished on friday because every day a different guy will come in to do a different job. So I will not get my spring cleaning done and there is dust all over from tearing the bathroom apart, and most of all ....I will not get my much needed R & R and will go back to work exhausted. However, there is nothing I can do except laugh at the whole situation and think...this can only happen to me, am I right? Below is a photo of my gutted bathroom, they are going to put a cover over the tub to make it look new, a beige tub. Below is what the bathroom looked like as of today, new tiles and a new floor, I like it already. I know what you are thinking......where is the toilet, right?

Here is the toilet! It has been sitting in our computer/ spare room since 8am monday morning, and I have to say... not only does it look weird, but theres nothing like sitting at your computer and looking at a toilet. Its a constant reminder that I have to run up stairs to the 3rd floor apartment (above us) to use the toilet, yes, the apt is unoccupied, thank god.

I am sure that I will be so happy to see my new bathroom when it is done but until then I really need some sleep and another vacation to get my spring cleaning done. Well, I have to run upstairs now for you know what....lol. wish me luck with this whole bathroom remodel!

Brendan and Grandma's Birthday party

As we were getting ready to leave Natalie wanted Nana Yola to put her coat on, so Nana helped her out.

Here is Samantha & Delaney putting on body spray and lotion that they gave me for my Birthday, its velvet Tube Rose and it smells so good. Actually, they were spraying 2 different body sprays on us, the other one was wild Honeysuckle. I think they may have invented a new body spray...we can call it...Wild Honeysuckle Rose. If you can imagine those 2 fragrances together......that is just what we smelled like, Mmmmmm.

I also got a beautiful pair of purple heart earrings, I think that Delaney just might have picked these out because we both love the color purple. We are so much alike as a matter of fact, except for the blonde hair I think she is a minnie me. Just look at that adorable face!

I didn't get many photos of Bren and his friends because they stayed down stairs in his room most of the night. He did however come up stairs to show us his new Baseball cap (with his name on the back) that his friend gave him for his Birthday. Duh! I didn't even think to get a front photo.

Anyway, we both had a great Birthday and a great party. Thank you all for the party and the gifts, I really had a great time. Thanks to stacey and Brian for the nice printer too!

Happy Birthday to my sister-in-law Diane!...Diane and I share the same Birthday so we both are "29" years old today...again! So a big Birthday shout out all the way to Georgia to Diane, I hope your Birthday was as great as mine. I took tons of photos tonight because we had 2 Birthday' party's going at stacey's...Brendan's and Mine. I will post photos on sunday.

THE NEW ME....AND NATALIE

Welcome April! March was not a good month for our family at all so I am so glad to be in April now and I hope that things will be better. However, I have learned 2 important lessons from it all..one: you should never take anything for granted, and two: that unless someone is really in your shoes they don't know just how you feel and they tend to shy away. My Mother has always taught me to care about others and I always do (maybe too much) but the new me has realized that life is too short to worry about everyone and I need to focus on my own family that is always there for me when I need them.
So I now think about my family and how much I love them, and my 4 precious grandchildren that I simply adore! my husband, who is the sweetest man on earth, these are the people that I will care so much about. Not to mention, the 3 most awesome daughters that a mom could ever ask for, son-in-laws included.....and of course all 5 grandpuppie's too.

I am so blessed to have such an awesome family and I love them with all my heart! We are always there for each other (good and Bad) and thats what its all about, caring.

Someone recently said to me .....no one really wants to hear about it unless its all about them, Could this be true? if so, how sad!
