AN INCREDIBLE EDIBLE CAKE!

How Beautiful is this cake? It was made special just for Natalie and I couldn't believe my eyes when I first seen it. It is absolutely incredible! Don't you think? Natalie had a wonderful Birthday party! thanks to everyone in the family for making her day so wonderful.

Chris & Ann marie made Nattie an awesome Book and her special Cake for her Birthday, just how talented are these two? You guys are the best! Thank you so much.

Getting ready to celebrate

Nattie will turn 1yr old on Tuesday August 28th but we will celebrate her Birthday with a huge pool party at christy's & Cindy's house this saturday aug 25th. I think the last head count was around 50 so it should be a wild & crazy party. I won't have time to blog until either sunday or monday night because we will be busy getting things set up for the party. we will all take tons of photos to share with you so our blogs I'm sure will be party pics all week. the weather is suppose to be 98 degrees on saturday, great day for a pool party don't you think? Hope everyone has a great weekend and love to all. I took Nattie to the park today and took this photo.

Me!!It seems the judges liked my patio and have declared me the winner! so here are a few photo's from what went on this morning. 1st I noticed an envelope under my door, then I opened it and thought I would share what was in it with all of you.

Oh, and another beautiful day again today, I think its like about 68 degrees. I wish it would last for the rest of the summer but I heard that the heat is coming back on Fri & Sat and will be in the high 80's, oh well, a great day for a Nattie's Pool party.

Beautiful day in weymouth

Today is such a wonderful day! it is 70 degrees and there is a awesome breeze. I have waited so long for a day like today, it almost feels like fall, I am loving it.

SURPRISE!!!!!

This time I got them! every time Brian and the kids come in my work they always sneak up on me and scare me. Last Sunday when they came in my work (Bi, Sam, & Del) they hid behind a huge floor sign so when I looked up all I seen was a huge sign coming towards me and I was like, Huh??then they jumped out from behind the sign. Well, they came in my work today but little did they know that stacey called me to let me know that they were coming in so I hid behind a floor plant that was on the counter and got my camera ready. The second I seen them I jumped up and took this photo, wow! do they look surprised or what????? Nice try!!

Grandma has the cure

Here are a few photos from yesterday, seems he's feeling better now. I gave him motrin, fed him (very important) and we went swimming up at Grandma's pool then, he slept over G-ma's house again last night. I have to take Nana to the Drs today to get her stitches removed so I will drop him off at his house on my way to Nana's .He is so excited because he and his Dad are going to the "Red Sox" game tonight. I'm so glad he is feeling better!

A Day in the E.R.

Brendan has been saying that his back has been hurting him so Stace called his Dr yesterday. The Dr wants him to go to the E.R. for x-rays and to be checked out. I said that I would take him so stacey could study for the huge test that she had to take last night. Lacey was at stacey's house watching the girls for a few hours so she could go out to study. So off Bren & I went to the south shore hospital to get him checked out. we got there at noon time yesterday and got out at 10 pm. everything turned out fine, his blood work and x-rays were normal. The Dr says he pulled a muscle in his back and he should take mortin for the pain and rest. yay!

Here he is waiting for the Doctor to check him, funny thing is the nurse gave him the motrin about 2 hours before the dr checked him so his pain was better by then.
( I thought that was weird).

So after 2 motrin, 1 sl pizza, a bag of chips, 1 cup of ice cream, crackers with peanut butter, a 1/2 of turkey sandwich, apple juice, ginger ale, and about 4 cups of water, he was feeling sooooooooo much better. yaaaaay!!!

We came out of the hospital at 10 pm and had a hitch-hiker on my (purple car). He actually hung on for the ride to stop & shop and was still there when we came out. The windshield wipers took care of him.

We had to get more food to re-fuel the Boy!!

And of course he slept over Grandma's. Oh! and he told me that I am the best Grandma in the entire world and he just doesn't know what he would do without me...Just how sweet is this Boy???

Oh! and congratulations to Stacey!!!!! She got an (A) on her final. yaaay!

LIKE YOU, LIKE ME

Here is a photo from 1998 when Brendan was about 1 month old. Stacey got this shirt for me because she called Brendan "Grandma's Boy" ( and still does). I call him my favorite Grandson now but he will always be "Grandma's Boy". I've been posting pics of the "Girls"lately so Brendan, this post is for you.

The Night Lights

Where are the Judges?

The Judges will be around sometime this month looking at all the Patio's in the complex to decide which 3 patio's will be winners. 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes will be given out to the 3 best looking patio's. Although I won 1st prize last year, this year I have some real competition so I'm not counting on it. Actually, Its not that I even try to win the contest its just that I love flowers and love to decorate., you can ask my "Girls" they will tell ya that I just love it! I also have strings of lights wrapped all around the railings and Drazonflies that light up at night. I really don't know where I find the time to do all of this because it is very time consuming, it takes about 1 hour every morning and 1 hour every night and on real hot days about 1/2 hour in between but I guess that I just love to do it so much that I just find the time. I will let you know when the Judges have announced the winner. Hope you all have a great day!

34 Wonderful Years

This morning as we sat together drinking our coffee we talked about how blessed we are for having such a wonderful & Beautiful family. So to Brian & Stacey, Scott & Robin, Christy & Cindy, Brendan, Samantha, Delaney, & Lil Natalie, we love so so much more than words could ever say. Thank you all for coming into our lives and making it so wonderful! Lets not forget the Grandpups, JD, Buster, Jolie & Apollo, We love you too.

Christmas in August??

The Grandkids know just how much I love "Santa" so they got this shirt for me while they were on vacation at Santa's Village. They were so excited to give it to me because they knew that I would love it! I can't wait to go with the Family next year so I can hang out in Santa's Village....Ho! Ho! Ho!

Our Beautiful Grandaughter...SAM..

Sometimes you just never know what samantha is going to say next. She said the funniest thing to me last night on the phone and I almost spit my coffee all over the computer. She had spent the nite over my Sister Ellie's on wednesday to play with her cousin Jamie, (Ellie's Grandaughter). When Stacey went to pick Sam up last night she called me on the phone on her way home from Ellie's, Sam asked stace if she could talk to Grandma(me)..haha.for a minute. So Sam gets on the phone and says to me....Grandma.... Just want to let you know that I've been playing with your Sister all day. I could not stop laughing, it sounds so funny to hear a 5 year old say that plus I didn't know that she knew we were sisters...Stacey said when she first got in the truck Sam said I can't wait to tell Linda(me) haha. that I was playing with her sister and Stacey said...Linda who... and Sam said ..You know...Grandma. hahaha. Kids are just so Darn funny, don't ya think? We asked her how she knew that Ellie & I were sisters and she said that Ellie told her. too funny!
